Our menu changes every week depending on what is fresh, seasonal and available from our kitchen garden, so this menu is a SAMPLE menu only. 

Starter

Roast parsnip soup, parsnip crisps, homemade bread 

​Beetroot and pumpkin salad, feta, pumpkin seed pesto, rocket

Chicken terrine, mango gel, golden raisins, poppadum shards, coriander

Wood Brother's cured salmon, citrus and dill crust, compressed cucumber, crispy capers, crème fraiche

Main

Roast dry-aged sirloin of beef, Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, buttered kale, red wine jus

Pan roasted chicken supreme, pork and sage stuffing, roast potatoes, garden greens, chicken gravy

(Both our beef and chicken roasts are served with cauliflower cheese, carrot and swede mash and seasonal vegetables from our garden)

Pan roasted lemon sole, crispy mussels, samphire, shallot, garlic, Pernod and white wine sauce, sea purslane, chive oil, pomme purée 

12 hour slow cooked belly of Kelmscott pork, roast potatoes, apple, celeriac, crackling, cider jus

Ras al hanout spiced butternut squash, chickpea and apricot tagine, shallot, carrot and cumin purée, puffed wild

Pudding

Spiced apple crumble, vanilla custard

Egg custard tart, nutmeg, marinated blackberries, blackberry ripple ice cream

White and dark chocolate ganache, cocoa nib tuille, mint ice cream

Sticky toffee pudding, warm toffee sauce, praline tuille, vanilla ice cream

British cheeses with crackers and accompaniments (3 cheeses-£3 extra)

Spenwood – hard sheep’s cheese, with red grape chutney

Sinodun Hill - soft goat’s cheese, with quince

Shropshire Blue – semi hard blue cow’s milk, with apple and vanilla chutney

Tunworth – soft, unpasteurised cow’s cheese, with apricot chutney
